# Introduction to Spacelift Flows

Spacelift Flows is a visual automation platform for building workflow automations and DevOps operations. You build automations by connecting blocks together on a visual canvas instead of writing scripts.

Each block performs one specific function - making HTTP requests, transforming data, sending notifications, or integrating with external services.
